Salt Partners of Switzerland commissioned a HYDROSAL flux salt recovery plant in MD Recycling aluminum smelting facility at Midway, Tennessee, USA. The new system employs the Salt Partners HYDROSAL process with hydroextraction. The slag is fully desalted for use as cement additive. Energy consumption for recrystallisation is minimised.
